- Professor Paul Ritvo, PhD, Clinical Psychology
Short Biography
Professor Paul Ritvo, PhD, As a Professor, at York University, Dr. Ritvo has generated and evaluated online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and mindfulness interventions for 12 years, internationally and nationally, leading or co-leading 7 randomized controlled trials (RCTs). A cognitive behaviour therapist (registered psychologist) for 25 years, recent studies on the psychophysiological effects of mindfulness span 6 published RCTs. Dr. Ritvo is currently Co-Principal Investigator of a RCT investigating an online intervention for major depressive disorder funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research in collaboration with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
