After happily practicing as a full-time sonographer at the Credit Valley Hospital for 2 years, she noticed some knowledge gaps surrounding prenatal ultrasound use in the literature. This prompted her to consider being involved in research in some capacity which, after much thought and consideration, led her to the PhD program at York University.
