Working as the Clinical Educator for radiation therapy at the Odette Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto Canada I engage in both staff and student education. As a practice based researcher with an appointment as instructor in the Division of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto, I continue to be involved in strategic initiatives in education and research with my most recent participation as co-director of an accredited leadership workshop in cancer education through the University of Toronto, Continuing Professional Development. I am very passionate about learning and continuing professional development, with publications in both patient and staff education and was most recently awarded the Excellence in Clinical Education from the University of Toronto. I have worked as a frontline radiation therapist for over 20 years and within clinical education for over 10 years and continue to be engaged in both local, national and international education.
