Short Biographies
Anna Simeonov, MSc., MRT(MR)(R) MRSO (MRSCTM): MRI Lead Technologist and MRI Safety Officer at Princess Margaret Cancer Center, Department of Radiation Oncology, Lecturer, Radiation Medicine Program University of Toronto. Anna has over 25 years of experience in radiography, clinical and research MRI. For the last 20 years specializing in MRI applications for image-guided radiation therapy planning, cancer treatment response and adaptation.
Nancy Talbot, MAppSc, MRT (MR) (R) MRSO (MRSCTM): is currently the Manager of MRI for the University Health Network, and the Charge Technologist/Supervisor of MRI at the Princess Margaret Cancer Center site in Toronto. She had held a leadership position in MRI for the last 23 years. She has specialized in oncology MR with a focus in Abdomen and Pelvic imaging over her 26 years as an MRI Technologist. She has participated in education by presenting at a variety of conferences and was also a course developer and instructor in the MRI Technologist training program at the Michener Institute for 8 years. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Applied Science with an MRI focus in 2007. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety, and Canadian Association of Radiologists MRI Accreditation working group. She has been an ISMRT policy board member, and sat on several CAMRT committees, including the development of Best Practices.
