Short Biographies
Professor Euclid Seeram, PhD., FCAMRT: currently serves as honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sydney, and a member of the Medical Image Optimization and Perception Group (MIOPeG)-Faculty of Health Sciences; adjunct associate professor at Monash University-Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences; adjunct professor at Charles Sturt University-Faculty of Science; and Adjunct Associate Professor-Faculty of Health, University of Canberra; in Australia. He has published more than 50 papers in professional radiologic technology journals and has had 20 textbooks published on computed tomography, computers in radiology, radiographic instrumentation, digital radiography, and radiation protection. He is a founding member of the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences and is now on editorial boards for Radiography, an International Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy; Biomedical Imaging and Intervention Journal, and Open Journal of Radiology, Journal of Allied Health; Journal of Social Science & Allied Health Professions, and serves on the international advisory panel for the Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences. His current research interests are related to radiation dose optimization in computed tomography and digital radiography imaging systems, as well as in radiation protection related to diagnostic imaging.
Dr. Euthimios Tim Agadakos, PhD : Euthimios Tim Agadakos serves as the Regional Director for Europe of the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT), the president of the Panhellenic Society of Radiological Technologists, and is an academic fellow at West Attica University. With extensive expertise in computed tomography (CT), radiation protection, and patient safety, he champions continuous professional development (CPD) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) in medical imaging. Tim Agadakos completed his education in Greece and Australia, building a significant career in both countries. His professional focus includes the development of advanced medical imaging systems and the design of CT protocols that prioritize patient safety and diagnostic accuracy. His contributions to the field are well-regarded, particularly in the areas of dose reduction strategies and the implementation of novel technologies in clinical practice. An active participant in scientific forums, Tim regularly contributes to international conferences and seminars. His role as an educator in CPD programs underscores his commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence. He is also a vocal advocate for radiographers, serving on various governmental committees to influence policy and improve professional standards. In recognition of his dedication and contributions to the field, Tim Agadakos has been instrumental in organizing webinars and educational events that provide critical updates and training for radiological technologists. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Radiation Technology (MRT), a Master of Science (MSc) in Healthcare Management, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine. His academic and professional credentials reflect his comprehensive knowledge and expertise, making him a distinguished leader and innovator in the field of radiological technology.
