Dr. Christina Malamateniou, PhD, SFHEA, MA (Cln.Edu.), Macad, MedEd, DIC, BSc (Hons): Christina is the Director of the postgraduate programme of radiography at City, University of London and a Visiting Professor of Radiography at HESAV University in Switzerland (2022-2023). She is a widely published researcher in medical imaging 9h-index 19, 63 publications, 6 standards, 6 scientific reports), with more than £3.25 million in research grants in her name as PI and Co-I and an enthusiastic educator. Her area of research revolves around AI adoption and education in radiography, person centred care and supporting the workforce in its recovery after the Covid19 pandemic. Christina is also the chair of the AI advisory group of the SCoR and the new Chair of research for the EFRS from April 2023-2025. She works as NIHR imaging science working group member and is an elected member of the EuSomII Board. She is an associate editor with JMIRS and a regular reviewer for Radiography. Christina believes in leading from the heart and in the power (and fun) of collaborative work.
Professor Euclid Seeram, PhD., FCAMRT: currently serves as honorary senior lecturer at the University of Sydney, and a member of the Medical Image Optimization and Perception Group (MIOPeG)-Faculty of Health Sciences; adjunct associate professor at Monash University-Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences; adjunct professor at Charles Sturt University-Faculty of Science; and Adjunct Associate Professor-Faculty of Health, University of Canberra; in Australia. He has published more than 50 papers in professional radiologic technology journals and has had 20 textbooks published on computed tomography, computers in radiology, radiographic instrumentation, digital radiography, and radiation protection. He is a founding member of the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences and is now on editorial boards for Radiography, an International Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy; Biomedical Imaging and Intervention Journal, and Open Journal of Radiology, Journal of Allied Health; Journal of Social Science & Allied Health Professions, and serves on the international advisory panel for the Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences. His current research interests are related to radiation dose optimization in computed tomography and digital radiography imaging systems, as well as in radiation protection related to diagnostic imaging.
Professor Christo El Morr, PhD: is a Professor of Health Informatics and the Director of the Centre for Feminist Research (CFR) at York University. He is also a Research Scientist at North York General Hospital, Toronto. Additionally, he serves as the Health Informatics Certificate Coordinator and is a former Graduate Program Director and Undergraduate Program Director at the School of Health Policy and Management at York University. His research aligns with an Equity Informatics perspective, covering areas such as Equity AI (e.g., patient readmission, disability advocacy), Patient-Centered Virtual Care (e.g., chronic disease management, mental health), Global Health Promotion for equity (e.g., equitable health promotion), and Human Rights Monitoring (e.g., disability rights, Gender-Based Violence).
