The focus of this Live webinar is on emotional intelligence in healthcare;

Webinar Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will:

  1. Understand the hazards associated with MRI, including the risks of burns and thermal effects due to RF, as well as the dangers of ferromagnetic objects that can become projectiles and cause torque.
  2. Be familiar with the essential processes to prevent MRI-related accidents, which includes conducting thorough patient screening and respectfully declining any contraindicated objects within the 9 Gauss line.
  3. Know how to effectively implement safety protocols in the MRI environment, adhering strictly to the safety guidelines outlined in the ACR manual.

Ifeadikachi (Ify) Iweadinobi, BSc.,RTR, RTMR, MRSO: Ify holds a BSc in Radiological Sciences and an advanced diploma in MRI and spectroscopy. As a highly skilled Canadian healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in MRI technology, coupled with an ABMRS certification in MRI Safety, she stands out as a leader in diagnostic imaging. With a strong foundation in emotional intelligence and compassion, she executes MRI procedures with meticulous precision. Ify takes pride in mentoring students in clinical settings, emphasizing the critical importance of MRI safety and emotional intelligence for achieving success in the Canadian workforce. Patient safety is her top priority, allowing her to excel in high-pressure clinical environments. Recognized for her exceptional teamwork and communication skills, she actively shares her expertise with the community that has shaped her career, empowering others to thrive in this vital fiel.
