We provide certificate of attendance. \nScroll Down   to Register Online (credit card or paypal)\, or download the Registration Form (Cheque)  \n\n			\n				\n			\n			Audience\n		\n\n		\n			Objectives\n		\n\n		\n			Speakers\n		\n\n		\n			Schedule\n		\n\n		\n			Location\n		\n		 \n\n		\n			\n				\n					\n			Health Professionals (Nurses\, Allied health professionals…)\n		\n\n		\n			Joy At Work : On completion of this session participants will: \n\n1) Discuss meaningful communication as it relates to joy in your work.\n2) Highlight the need for meaningful and sustainable communication within our areas of work and beyond\n3) Develop an understanding of self-awareness in your role and how you contribute to the culture of your team\n4) Discuss how your team defines success in joy within your workplace.\n5) Discover how to create a safe culture for sharing\, empathy and understanding within your work environment\n6) Determine what psychological safety would look and feel like and how to foster it.\n7) Develop an understanding of emotional intelligence and how to get support when needed\n8) Develop a toolkit for your personal resilience\n\nCompassion : On completion of this session participants will: \n\n1) Answer the question as to why people in caring professions cease to show care.\n2) Define the differences between compassion and empathy and why it matters\n3) Discuss specific processes involved in the delivery of compassionate care within the clinical environment\n4) Understand their roles and approaches to patients and families faced with difficult clinical dilemmas (cancer diagnosis; death of a loved one; loss of a child).\n5) Discuss diversity as a key component in the provision of culturally competent care\n6) Discuss the role of different care providers in the interprofessional team approach to care giving.\n7) Recognize the need to explore self compassion as clinical practitioners\n\nBurnout Prevention : On completion of this session participants will learn: \n\n1) What are the benefits of being mindful to the brain.\n2) A few practical exercises to bring mindfulness and inner peace into their days\n3) How to be mindful while doing everyday tasks\n4) How to be grounded and in the present moment.\n\n		\n\n		\n			\n\n\n \n\nMS.
