She has also received a FAETC: Further Adult and Education Teacher’s Certificate from the College of North-East London\, UK (1991)\, and a Diploma in Radiologic Technology American University of Beirut-Medical Centre Radiologic Technology Training Program\, Lebanon. In 1994\, she has pursued further education and training in radiation safety sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) at the International Center of Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste Italy. She has over 25 years of radiography teaching experience at different Universities in Canada and abroad.\nShe is a registration committee member at the College of Radiological Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO). She is certified with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).\nIn 2017 she founded VCA Education Solutions for Health Professionals\, Inc. In 2018\, she was nominated for the OAMRS Practitioner of the Year award; and lately\, she was appointed to represent CMRTO at Accreditation Canada. \nMr. Alan Thibeau\, MA\, RT(NM): Following 37 years of dedicated service\, Alan retired from the Ottawa Hospital (TOH) in May 2018. In his most recent role\, as Professional Practice and Radiation Safety Manager within medical imaging\, he was responsible for ensuring safe practice\, high quality imaging and the provision of appropriate education for approximately 350 medical radiation technologists (MRTs) and sonographers. He was also responsible for the safe application of x-rays throughout TOH. In June 2018\, Alan completed a Master of Education through Athabasca University. He is currently working as a Nuclear Medicine consultant\, specializing in radioimmunotherapy applications. \nDr. Christo El Morr\, PhD\, Health Informatics: Christo El Morr is an Associate Professor of Health Informatics and the Health Informatics Certificate Coordinator at the school of Health Policy and Management\, York University. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Compiègne University of Technology. His cross-disciplinary research covers health informatics and computer engineering.\nHis research interests focus on Health Virtual Communities\, Mobile Communities\, e-collaboration\, particularly in the domain of Chronic Disease Management and health promotion: Peripheral Arterial Disease\, Kidney Diseases and Mental Health. His work in Global eHealth addresses Human Rights\, Equity\, and Gender Based Violence challenges. He also has research interests in Health Services and Patient Quality of Care (e.g. readmission patterns\, dose reduction). She has conducted a study on reducing radiation dose levels in general x-ray imaging and presented her findings at local and international conferences and published in the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (JMIRS). Ms. Lorusso is a recipient of the 2017 Practitioner of the year\, 2016 London Health Sciences Centre Scholarly Award; the 2015 Chair’s Award of Inspiration at Western’s Schulich School of Medicine Imaging Discovery Days; a 2015 Certificate of Merit from the Medical Imaging Congress\, and the 2015 George Reason Memorial Award and 2013 Phillips Exhibit Award in MRI – both through the annual CAMRT National Conference. Liz has represented Ontario in a three-year term on the CAMRT Board of Directors and served as an expert peer reviewer for the JMIRS editorial board for two years. At the college\, Liz is an active part of campus life – fulfilling the role of radiation safety officer since 2007\, as well as a three-year appointment to the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario (CMRTO). \nMs. Valentina Al Hamouche: Ms. Al Hamouche\, holds an M.Sc.
